This website has been created and is managed by Jessica Chase, M.A. CCC-SLP. She also manages and writes for the website/blog Consonantly Speaking. In 5th grade, she discovered her true passion – speech-language pathology. She had volunteered at a camp for children with disabilities and always wanted to help out in the speech-language pathologists’ rooms. Throughout the 12+ years that she volunteered there, she learned a lot from her mentors about the field and this only further fueled her passion. Finally, after college, she began working in the public schools with grades K-12 After two years in the schools, she started the blog Consonantly Speaking to share materials, tips, reviews, information, and more with her colleagues. After a year of posting on Consonantly Speaking, she started the collaborative blog Speechie Freebies.
